I just finished upgrading my Ubuntu to the newest release (Karmic Koala - 9.10), and went to my repository GitHub to install my preferred applications, at: ubuntu-fresh-install... To my surprise, it was off-line!!!


I heard a lot about distributed source control, blah blah, but this time I really needed the server there (rather than my local repository). Had to find it from my last backup (good to do that once in a while).
